I must say, I got a little bit grinchy in the morning.. it could have been the cold.

Everyone received presents and enjoy them. I have my books that I'll start reading tomorrow during my trip to the mountains. Finally that short trip is coming, along with the cold.

I don't know, in the past few weeks, I've received a lot of info that I still need to process. Nothing bad, just too much. I feel influenced, as well, by the end of the year and the sensation of completion and the end of a cicle and stuff like that. I believe, that, as a consequence, I feel so pro-active and wishing to do a lot of things and once but at the same time to enjoy the process.

I want to knit because I find it relaxing and I love to feel that I'm creating something. I want to make plans and conspire against the world and use my creativity, my imagination. I want another tattoo without thinking too much because sometimes I overthink and paralize, therefore no results.

I want to go shopping and buy the boots that for an unknown reason I refused to buy a couple of years ago but now I truly want. I want to go to the mountains and read. Lay next to le bf and share more moments.

Read and read and read, and live someone else's life, just for a page and be on someone else's shoes and see the world with someone else's eyes and watch some football.

Finally holidays and more time to spend with my blog.

I feel so guilty when I abandon it in such a way but I feel guilty as well if I post instead of doing what I should. Anyways, I'm not entirely free, I have some pages to write but defentely, I'll be less busy so December is perfect for blogging, I hope.

I love December and above all X-mas lights everywhere... including my house. Decorations started since last week but this weekend is Tree-time. I love hot chocolate and ponche and desserts. Can't wait for more!!

It might sound silly but sometimes I hate to take decisions and I no longer want to go to the music festival because I'll have to choose between Moby and The Rapture as they are playing at the same hour.

I know Moby comes regularly to my country and I could listen to him another time but he has songs I love and the boyfriend wants to listen to him.

On the other side, The Rapture is my lastest discovery So I'm thrilled for their coming and they might not comeback and play.

colder and colder

For the last 2 years I've loved October because it has become a month where good things happen without much planning. And it seems this October will be no exception. So far:

I have to register for my very important French exam. something that will put me a step closer to my goals for next year :)

My reading on Marina Tsvetaeva at my faculty. Two days of Russian Literature.

Corona Capital Fest. A music festival full of people singing all day long. It is not a perfect fest, details could be improved but it has been a couple of months (June) since my last concert and bands I love are coming, so why not?

Also, this October I will:

1. Enjoy this month

2. Prepare for the cold by knitting stuff

3. Get those 30 pages done (they take my sleep away)

4. Study for my language exams (French and German)

5. Write to my overseas friends

6. Read The Turn of the Screw, no matter what!

Don't you love to make lists? hell ya, I do.

October is here and that means things will get colder. The only reason I love cold is because I can wrap myself in clothes, jumpers, scarves and coats, just that. Therefore, I have to prepare myself to survive the cold. Among other things, I have to protect my head, here are some ideas

This week meant my return to normality after more than a week of being concealed at my place due to surgery. Things went fine. I still can't see 100% good but my life has definitely changed and I'm happy for that.

Well, as my comeback I'd love to show you the work of this visual artist, Daniela Edburg. I just bumped into her and love her, it was love at first sight. I guess I couldn't resist her portray of how we fall victims of our desires. How we are seduced by objects and even die for them. I love how she uses color, in my opinion to create a dramatic effect. In a way the images are playful and colorful in contrast to what they are presenting, I mean death.

These pictures come from her collection called Drop Death Gorgeous but she has other stuff incredibly good

I know it is super lame to start a blog and abandon it BUT I've been too busy preparing stuff for the surgery that is coming this wednesday. I have to get work done and to do some language homework because I won't be near the computer for a week and I won't be attending courses.

Yes, it means I'll abandon the blog once again but I'll be back to show you crafty things I'll be doing during my absence.

Right now I'm reading Amsterdam by Ian McEwan. I started yesterday and I LOOOVE it. I had to stop reading because an emergency occured yesterday but TODAY I can't take my hands off it. I was forced to do it for work but as soon as I finish I'll get back to it.

If you have the chance go and read it. It is so beautifully written and McEwan always finds a way to mesmerize readers.
